On August 10, 2025, NK Udada Foundation coordinated one of the largest single-day outreach efforts in our history at the Mengo Social Centre.
Working alongside the Hajat Minsa Kabanda Foundation, BAPS Charities, Mengo Doctors Clinic, and the Sembera Foundation, our team helped deliver HIV testing and counselling, family planning services, youth counselling, and free medication to more than 900 community members.
Why it mattered
For many attendees, this was the first time they had accessed a health screening in years. Our volunteers ran a youth counselling tent alongside the medical stations, giving young people a private space to ask questions about reproductive health without judgement.
